Nisan BV attaches great importance to the protection of your personal or professional data and that your privacy is respected.
In this privacy statement, we aim to provide clear and transparent information about
how we handle personal data and what data we collect. We are committed to protecting your privacy and therefore handle personal data with care.
Nisan complies in all cases with applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation.
Who is responsible for your personal data?
Your data will be processed by Nisan or a partner of Nisan which is identified as responsible controller. Certain company data is used by our partner, in the form of our accountant, in order to process the financial transactions between Nisan and our clients.
Which personal data is stored by Nisan BV or its partners?
General business information, like address and VAT-number in order to invoice, as required by local Belgian law. Furthermore are the general shared business information and personal company data, like name, email and telephone number stored for project related communications. Company and client details are stored in our database for internal use only in order to for future communications and analysis.
In some cases it is necessary that intellectual property of our clients is shared with Nisan in order for us to execute a certain activity. Any IP shared with Nisan is handled with care and discretion and shall not be shared with third parties, unless explicitly stated by the owner of the information. IP is stored and handled during the course of the relevant project and will be disposed of once the project is finished. Nisan has no intention to primarily collect, share or redistribute any intellectual property of our clients.
Does Nisan share personal data?
Company data deemed relevant is shared with our accountant in order to process invoicing and VAT, ICP, tax declarations. If necessary Nisan shares data with courts, law enforcement authorities, regulators or attorneys if legally permitted and necessary to comply with a legal obligation or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. Nisan does not share data for commercial or analytic purposes, nor has it the intention of doing so.
How long does Nisan store personal data?
Nisan does not store personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or as required by law, with a maximum of five years after last use.
We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unlawful processing. All members on behalf of Nisan BV are aware of the sensitivity of certain shared data and handle all shared data with care and discretion.
Data protection rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we have received from you. Contact information for this can be found at the top of this privacy statement. You can also contact us via the contact page on our website.
You can object to the processing of your personal data (or part thereof) by us or by one of our processors.
You have the right to have the data you provided transferred to you or, on your behalf, directly to another party. We may ask you to identify yourself before we can comply with the aforementioned requests.
